wasnt there a movie or a video game or something that started like this? And the moon broke apart and started crashing into Earth, forcing some humans underground…

I was half awake and listening to it on the news. They were playing it live but I didn’t have my contacts in. I just remember hearing something about “Well, umm, we didn’t really see anything. We were supposed to be able to. Umm…”
So did we fuck it up? Forget our unit conversions again?

I have a telescope but you couldn’t see it around here.
It was pretty anticlimactic on the TV.

It is damn bright outside right now. I have def. never seen the moon cast such a strong shadow. Too bad its way to cold out to do anything productive.
