is he gonna be running with the windows open? my bet if he ran with them closed, the driver would suffocate (the engine sucking up all the air, and of course, heating that place up pretty fast) anyway, sweet looking setup so far! (even though it’s still sorta choppy) :tup: ---

315/60/15’s MT drag radials top is chopped 8" The side windows will pop open in the front to scoop in some air. pump gas street engine. 522 CID 7.7:1 Hyd roller cam with solid lifters It’s a street/strip machine. full length roll cage lexan firewall between the engine and driver ---

Any idea how thick the Lexan will be? Cause if any part of that motor goes… with the proximity to the driver, I think he would need a 1/4" plate of steel to maybe protect him. Cool idea though and I like the chopped top on this one. ---

What is with all of these marine engines in street aps? Just wondering if there is a distinct benifit. Cool project though. ---

What the hell are you guys talking about with “marine blocks”. They are all the same blocks, also the 350 diesel’s werent any stronger where it mattered thats why they all blew to hell. 4 bolts a 4 bolt, 2 bolts a 2 bolt, dont matter if it was a diesel bomb or not. ---

yeah, i know for a fact that mercruiser at least uses standard size gm blocks in their motors, 350’s n 454’s. im not sure on ALL the differences of marine/automotive, but marine engines are water cooled and are mostly carbed. looks like on mercruise website most of the smaller motors are still carbed.
