I like Miata’s. Don’t worry about masculinity. Only a guy hung like a tic-tac would base his manhood on his car. Besides, there’s nothing feminine about how violently these things can slalom. I take it that this would be a summer car purchase? ---

Well on one hand it’s just a Grand Am. Ditch it while it’s still work \>$3k. On the other hand, you still like it and it can only depreciate a couple thousand more. :shrug: Your call. Would you rather have that $3k in the form of a Grand Am or would you rather have $3k worth of mods, or investments, or coke & hookers? If I were going to spend $15k on a summer ride it’d definitely be a convertible + mods. Warm summer nights with the top down would be awesome. IIRC Miata’s can get 30mpg cruising, so you wouldn’t have to blow so much money just cruising. :gotme: ---
