My sister used this for her beagle. It’s gray and has some rust but is still in good shape. Has a metal base plate. The end with the lock goes into your computer, the other end can be looped through itself around anything you want… usually a desk/table OP- Have you tried opening the player as a folder in “my computer”(like a flash drive) and dragging the files into it? ---

Yeah it doesn’t even register as anything when I click on my computer. There’s nothing to click on for me to drag and drop. Previously that was how I transferred all of my files. But since putting a new hard drive into my laptop, nothing shows up when I connect the mp3 via usb. ---
