Tso tickets front row, new plasta 60 inch tv, dad a buffalo harley gift card and mom another coach purse and wallet. Parents got more then 1 gift/gifts.not to mention my sisters ugg boots another plasma 32" for the g/f and even more. I h8 Xmass. ---

I spent… maybe $200 total… we’ve pretty much canceled Christmas at my house due to the Wedding being only 2 weeks after; so all our $$ is going towards that. We bought a couple things for my Mom/Dad, the Dogs, and stocking-stuffers only for ourselves. ---

But come on now, if you spend more than $1500 dollars on gifts for immediate family(and don’t have children), then you are basically just rubbing into people’s faces that you have more money than them. “Hey look at me! I am filthy rich and/or love credit card debt, I spent $10k on gifts” I guess I just somehow think that people who spend tons of money buying gifts are just missing the whole point of christmas and the holiday season. ---

Unless they see the whole point of Christmas as to get something nice for someone who deserves it, and because they have a level of income allowing them to do so can do it. I’m shopping for the misses and my father. I’m sure I’ll crack into the 500$ club. I spy a gas grill for my dad, we get together and grill 4 times a week year round. His grills are all shot. ---
