# City of Buffalo, Speeding. Plea?

Does anyone know how it works down there now?
I heard all the news about plea deals being possible now but wanted to get some updated experiences before I do anything.

When i just went in november they took a 20 over and a suspended license ticket, dismissed the suspension since i took care of it immediately and gave one parking ticket without state surcharge.

Mind me asking what they hit you for $$$? Mine was the same overage.
Al priority system is in my future. Freaking lasers…My escort 9500i didn’t peep either.

WOW. Good for you. I got caught back in 2000ish going 50/25 @ buff state on a motorcycle and plead not guilty. It was a train wreck. The officer was present it was a full blown trail. I got my ass handed to me.
Was just going to send this ticket in. But if this new Buffalo Traffic Violations Agency is now an experience like all the suburbs. I’ll play…
Did the officer show, or you just talk with the judge or what? I hope I’m not prying, just trying to get a feel for what I’m up on…

No it’s fine knowledge is good. I went in signed in the prosecutor was at the stand. Told me what they were willing to plead down to. I accepted the deal did the whole conversation with the judge, paid the girl downstairs and left. Took about 35 minutes.

ya i went in when i got a stop sign ticket on the appearance date on the ticket which was in oct, they told me the prosecutor was booked till feb i go in next week ill let you know how it goes.
oh and ya i totally made a right at the stop sign at 11pm with out a full stop i kind of deserved it.

The ticket contradicts itself about the timeline for pleading not guilty. ON the front it says to appear on the date, which I was planning on doing. At the NOT GUILTY section, it says to respond within 48 hours if pleading not guilty. I suspect they will not hold to that 48 hour deadline and I’ll send in my NG plea on Monday. I could also probably do what you did and just show up on the date and plead NG, go back in a few months.

Update on this I took a plea for a $150 parking ticket, no points no school. It was all done by mail, but I did go through my attorney.

I misplaced my ticket i have court in the morning… what time does court start… if you still have your ticket it will say… I plan for 9 but i cant find it online 😕
