# Closing down parks in NYS

wtf is this csbs? Gov Paterson is planning on shutting down a crapton of parks in NYS for budget cuts. This would most likely include Thacher Park. I love cruzin up to Thacher Park in the summer ☹

i think the idea behind closes thatcher is the main part, where the pool and buildings are.
if they lock everything up where you cant get to it… thats just stupid.
However i can see them completly blocking off the indain ladder trail for insurance reasons thats about it…
Get some tree huggin hippies to patrol the park… or smokey the bear for that matter.
