So i think my pressure plate is messed… so i need to replace the clutch i got a mechanic quote me 300. Anybody know of cheaper? or… anybody willing to do it for cheaper? Im looking to get this done early in the week, man it sucks not being able to drive. 647 878 3951, thanks in advance guys. ---

Is that parts and labour, or just parts/just labour. If its both, $300 is pretty damn cheap. I’m taking it that this is in a 240. What year? I’m on Snap-on shopkey right now, and S-13 your looking at about 3.9 hours labour, S-14 is quoted as the same @ $82/hour (my shop rate), so if the $300 is for labour, he’s not quoting you too high… ---

300 just labour I don’t think he’s quoting me too high, I’d just like cheaper, so I thought I’d post something be see if anybody was willing. Oh, yeah it’s the s13 btw ---

get the flywheel resurfaced and get a new throw out bearing ---

where are u located that may help that way people can refer u to a shop or something. changing the clutch your prolly looking at about 2-3 hours labour. so i sa u find out from a few shops. ---

too bad you couldn’t just do it yourself, it’s not too bad, as long as you have somewhere heated to work in, just put a new clutch on my rb20. it was out of the car too though… ---
