I got no complaints. Both my cobalts have served there purpose. Low maint and good gas mileage. In 65k the 05cobalt needed a wheel bearing and a blend door seal(both warrantys) the 08 so far has needed control aRm bushings(which have tsb). Anyone looking for a cheap dd,I highly suggest one of these.You really have no valid reason to hate on a basic car that serves basic purposes. ---

Shouldnt really matter where you are, there should be 4-5 others near by, include those in the BBQ as well…please ---

idk, didn’t take much money to make this car a little quicker. I probably would have been happier had I had it professionally tuned. Good thing I sold most of the junk i had. ---

Im sorry it doesn’t, its your car do with it what you please and enjoy while doing so, Im just sooooooo sick of having the conversation with so many different people about how their cobalt, neon, base civic, reg lancer Ext is a siqqqqq car…NO IT IS NOT. ---

I love my SS… the car dynoed 314whp 304wtq and gets 32mpg weekly. I drive the car about 200 miles a week. I’ve driven the new SS/TC and like some of the new features but the car felt slow to me… once the aftermarket catches on a bit more I’ll be interested to see what the results are. As far as the original post here the only 08’s that are unlockable right now are the 2.0’s so he is likely out of luck as far as HPTuners goes right now. I have seen people use the AEM FIC unit on the 2.2 engines with relatively good results. ---

Yes, it would have been smarter and i look back and wish i hadn’t bought this car. Especially since i had only 2500 left to pay off my 04 cavalier. But I sold it to my brother and just jumped on this. My father works for AAM so I also got a decent discount. All the performance parts i bought for this car i have pretty much sold off. Really didn’t lose much on them either. Actually I may have turned a profit on all the parts and still have more shit in my basement. The car moved pretty good I thought, even in stock form. Ask Scott. I’m pretty sure it surprised him. ---
