# Cobra vs 2002 GSXR600

Ran into a GSXR600 a couple days ago. Kept pacing each other on the high way, then we both slowed down to about 40. Did a three honk start, and off we went. I insatntly jumped a few lengths on him. Up to about 100, I still held him off, at about 2-2.5 lengths. Shut it down at 130mph, with the same distant. Quite proud of myself for that kill, with my new setup.

how is it not a good job?
bikes are incredibly fast from a roll, no matter what size engine

not really. depends on the rider and what gear he starts off in. shag and I ran i was in 6th at 40mph and we raced he had like 5 cars or so on me but i was gaining on him in higher rpms. so rider could of been in the wrong gear. when i ate that cobra i was in first. when me and chad ran last year i ran him in 5th and it was a close race. its all in hte rider and what gear hes in.

well isn’t that obvious??
and why would the guy race a cobra in 5th or 6th gear? Its not like blue caught him by surprise. He knew they were gonna race… he would have shifted down.
and I was talkign to blue… as i told him, i totally agree that rider skill is a HUGE factor in it… and maybe your gear selection theorem may come into mind, but i’d say its hard to accidentally mistake 6th gear for 2nd gear… i can see being off by 1 gear… .maybe 2… but come on… i dont see why the guy wouldnt shift down, KNOWING he was gonna have a race against a super fast car

not sure what gear he was in, but we stopped and talked, and he said he definitely was not sand bagging

why would a bike want to loose to a car?? Of course he is going to go balls to the wall. So he doesnt have to go home and tell his friends he got smoked by a cobra

he may not beable to ride or know what he is doing. start off in wrong gear or etc
