It’s tied to your phone so I guess if you lose both you’re fucked? Besides the fact you can still cancel the CC via the company.

I’m sure it works great in Austin, Bay area, and everywhere else with tons of tech people.

I’ve got a few more questions after reading the FAQ.
What about signatures?
The battery “should last 2 years”, after which you have to buy a new one @ $100 a pop.
What happens when I wear the magnetic strip out like I have on my primary card a couple of times? This is a big concern since with this I’d be swiping one card for everything.
I’m picturing a lot of hassles from stores around here who would pretty much never see them. Things like “We’re not swiping that, it looks like it’s going to hack us”.

Also say the mag strip reader isn’t working…how does the waitress, cashier, etc punch in the number manually?

A solution to this could be that it locks on the card that has been selected after it leaves your Bluetooth field.

The picture of the card is stored in the app so they could just enter it from there in that rare case.
