I’ve started to look into what I want to find when I get back and typically the good deals and nice cars pop up when you are not in immediate need to buy a new car so I was hoping for some help. I have a small shopping list and if anyone spots one of these cars for sale for a good deal over the next few months please let me know: Mercedes Benz Cosworth 190e 2nd Gen MR2 (turbo) Integra Type-R (unmolested) E36 M3 (2 door or coupe) 3rd Gen Rx7 (no swaps) E31 850i/ci E30 M3 Skyline R33 (legal, any trim) again, i’m not looking for a particular price on any of these and I know I have a huge range in values (especially to the highest trim and best condition). What I am really looking for is a good value for the money whatever the amount is. ---

I think the best value out of anything you’ve listed based on current market pricing would be the E36 M3. Any reason specifically for pre-OBD2? Your price range looks to be $5k-$40k lol. ---

There was one on ebay with 16,000 original miles for somewhere around $16k. I wish i was home I would have flown out to look at it. ---

I suppose you are right. Now that the trend has been broken I should add the Mitsubishi Evo VI to the list as well. ---

Keep in mind if you go w/ an EVO VI, you’ll need to swap an EVO VIII ECU in it so you have OBDII for inspection. Good luck finding someone selling a legit bond-released R33 GTR or EVO VI though. People are holding onto the GTRs. ---

I know a guy with a 190e 16v, I highly doubt he would ever sell it though haha… I’ll put the word out for you though, he works for a company in NC that remanufactures MB electronics and might know of a car somewhere Sent from my fecal collecting throne ---

You will be disappointed with a 190e 2.3-16v. I’d go for the E36 M3 or Mr2. ---

They said federally titled which I think is a good thing but I’m not tracking “bond-released” Also tracking the EVO ecu thing, that’s not a problem. I found a low mileage i in the buffalo area but it’s auto… .I need to research if they even came in 5spd.
