# Companies that insure RHD in Ontario

Hi guys I 've got “kicked out” by Unifound Assurance Company because of RHD.  
How do I find which companies have a filed rule against insuring Right Hand Drive cars?

I have over 20 years of driving, clean record, no other drivers and have daily for winter driving. Just want to drive ocassionally my rhd for 5 months a year.

Help me find insurance for my cars that’ll not discriminate me, please!

You guys don’t have show car/classic car insurance that is less strict? based on how much you drive obviously

yes we do, theoretically

just got of the phone with Lant,  
as soon as I said I have 1992 Nissan the lady interrupted me asking: Nissan? RHD Nissan? sorry we don’t .

Why is Canada so against RHD, you can have a cool car but you cant insure it. I was just talking to my brother inlaw in who lives in London, on about this he was telling me alot of RHD are selling cheap because no one is insuring them,

Move to the land of freedom and V8s?

It’s weird they have such an issue with RHD

A lot of kids had " collectors" policy in there dads name this passed winter due to the crack down on RHD  
Insurance companies were given right to refuse. So 90% have walked away from RHD.  
Back to this last winter, these kids had 15-20yr RHD cars under $15k and crashed them made claims … On a collectors policy … During winter. Needless to say collector policies now need over 25 yr old and are not insuring kids.

State Farm or all state with house and daily driver besides the RHD for 6 months then they’ll insure it  
Or facility
