HEY gang CompUSA is going BYE-BYE for good in latham and if u havent seen the people standing on rt 9 near Mobil OTR to about the circle they are holding those 6ft signs stating this and also 20-40% off everything in the store last time i saw them -j ---

Better go take advantage of my warranty on the laptop and quickly break it. Anybody know the exact date of closure? Btw, shouldn’t the extended warranty still be either refunded or honored by corporate or something? ---

it was suppose to be one of the remaining stores but it has been told to close its doors and as for the firm date i can see what i can find on that for you v ---

Eh, I’ve gone over there a few times now and am still unimpressed. When their price-slashing starts to hit like 50+% off, then it’ll be worth looking for stuff. In the meantime, their 15% off basically brings things down to near full price on mail order sites. Yay. ---

the sad thing is, that the 10 - 40% there offering is a joke. there prices are marked up, and even w/the discount your still paying more for most stuff there, then you would if you were to buy it online from newegg / dell, etc. at the register they have a piece of paper that says they don’t know the final close date yet, but im guessing soon. there’s not all that much left in the store when you really take a good walk around it. ---

final day was said to be early february…but who knows. there isnt shit for good prices in there. i bought an iMAC from apple cheaper than i would have paid for it with there “going out of business discount”
