there is nothing dynamic about setting static limits…wtf?

here’s an idea… leave the paging file to system managed since appearently no one really understands waht it’s purpose is… services running are not indicative of utilized resources. over 4gb left on a volume is plenty of space… it has nothing to do with anything being ‘slow’… my suggestion would be to not run all that bullshit one off programs for cleaning this or that… really those in the end cause the overhead that you’re wanting to eliminate. i’d just have someone look over the machine and recommend things. i wrote an auditing utility that takes a snapshot and saves off all important information to a file so that whomever is looking over your machine can have a better overall understanding…
