# computer parts - SSD, MB, CPU

looking to upgrade (nothing crazy). maybe a phenom CPU or something similar. dont need a case, dvd drive etc. not looking to break the bank. used is ok as long as it works. let me know what you got.

I recently bought a bundle kit from newegg to build a computer for my parents. as follows:

Also a case and power supply… It came to about 240 dollars and it’s more than they will ever need it for (internet, email, digital photo albums).
My suggestion is to just watch around and go new.
If you want to try out SSD, you could probably just go with sata II:

Ive got a 1yr old AMD Athlon x3 435 that i’ll let go pretty cheap, comes with the stock heatsink and fan. With the right motherboard you can unlock this CPU to be a quad core. PM if your interested.
