Hey guys/girls. I’m in desperate need of some good video editing and uploading software. My Sony HD cam records every movie file in .MTS and my comp doesn’t recognize it. I don’t want to convert it and risk losing quality. Anyone have anything I can have? ---

I can burn you a copy of Pinnacle. Not sure if it reads your .mts format though. ---

I haven’t used it in a while. It’s obviously pirated. I’ll have to see how ‘geeky’ the install is. Do you have any prior knowledge of how to get cracked software to work if there is no ‘product key’ (this might not be that way, but just in case, I’ll check this week). ---

I have the Adobe CS4 Master collection which includes Adobe Premire which is awesome vid editing software. It’s a bit on the complex side however. Leme know son. ---

Video editing is an art in its own but well worth learning ! Adobe Premiere is by far the best software your going to want to mess with, I think even some industry professionals use the software from time to time. There is more serious software available but the learning curve is not worth it for what your doing and pirating is not easy as those software require usb dongles and all sorts… Pinnacle is kind of old, Adobe is the way to go IMO. I had the same issue when I had my Sony HD cam, I use Ulead 11 with the update patch. Works great, but you need a serious computer (quad core, probably 4+gigs ram, good vid card) to be able to work smoothly with HD vid (well if you don’t have any patience) :lol ---
