is it still after 20 years you dont need an etest? how does that work now? I dont even own a s13 just curious. ---

haha emission tests are EPA not HTA =) and, yes, the rolling exemption stopped in 2006. so 87 and newer cars will -always- need an etest ---

just move up north, past northbay it isn’t required, lol. ---

88 and older mikey. 87 is exempt. i own an 88 and an 87. 88 needed e-test. 87 does not…ever…again!!! 🙂 ---

yea. it is. cause the 87 is going to have a 383 stroker on spary pushing in excess of 1400 ft lbs. i think it would fail even under hot rod lmao. my 88 is gettin a beefed up 4.3…no biggy ---

yeah i wished my car a happy birthday, then listened as bel air refused to insure me cuz they dont insure cars older than 19 years old LOL so FYI Bel Air wont insure any 89s anymore this year lols ---

the 20 year old thing is done… your car has to be 88 or older now. i was told this at the mto on feb 7 of this year ---

So what insurance companies can insure classic cars haha… im assuming its less? Friend of mine has a 68 mini or something like that (i forget the exact year but it is in the late 60s) and he was paying like 50 bux for 2 months or something?? Car even has a roll cage LOL. I am wondering if the same will apply to a 20 year old 240 haha… 91 here… so… 2 more years 😃 This alongside turning 25 next year, being married almost 3 years now, G, and insured in oakville… i hope all this will result in some major insurance savings lol. ---
