# Cool thing I found out about Sunoco and Shell Gas

Yes.

The theory behind it is, if the gas you run can resist more detonation, you can advance your timing to take advantage of that. Theres more to it than that, but that’s the basics behind it.

That’s all part of tuning. If you tune for 91, you probably won’t see any gain from running 94.
