# cop never asked for my license

last night i got pulled over. Long story short, it was in an odd place-middle of intersection-but he still got out, came to my window, never asked me for a license/registration and told me i would be “summoned” …I am sure they cane, but…can they do that? how do they know that the person driving it was the person on the registration? After I turned, I pulled into the gas station just to be sure, he never told me to pull over anywhere, and he just kept going straight?!? I am 😕 shouldn’t he have told me to pull into the gas station toget my information? if he’s giving me a summons, wouldn’t he have wanted to give me a ticket?!

sounds fishy to me, i would just wait and see what happens, then fight it saying he never took your information, told you what you were doing, pulled you over in an intersection, then you went into the gas station figuring he would follow you to do the above mentioned things, but he left, so you were like “wtf”

hmmm…stolen car hu? I wish conspiracies weren’t illegal…
yup, It’s gonna go like this:
Them: You owe us $\_\_\_ for the incident that occurded on Wednesday night March 8th.
Me: WHAT DO YOU MEAN? He never even asked me for my information, isn’t that a glitch in your system? I have no documentation of this incident
Hey wait a min…do you think I could plea INSANITY!!! Like I need more things in my life to worry about…

um… I dont think they can summon / ticket you at all. He must have had a call or something… Because you have to sign the ticket agreeing to show up to court. You also have no documentation of the fact that you got pulled over… therefore how do you know that he wasn’t making this shit up.
You have huge leg to stand on as there was no licence given… they dont have a sigined ticket… adn the cop drove off… Unless he radioed in that you were running and that they need to start a pursuit. you should b eok.

Yeah I would not worry about it. When you go to the DA for a ticket they ask for the signed ticket and blah blah…you dont have that, He never took your licence so he can not ticket you personally, although if your the owner of the car then i dunno. Did he give you any type of document at all or just say you would be summond?

when they send you the ticket say this is bullshit I Wasnt ever pulled over, but I do let people borrow my car. Then tell you them you wana see the report with all of your information on it.
