# Copying Copy-protected DVD's

This is a good program for most DVDs and it’s free. The only bad thing is that it cannot defeat Sony’s newest copy protection. So if you get a Sony disc, you have to use a different program. Magic DVD Copier (Ripper) will do it. [Magic DVD Copier - copy DVD to blank DVD or hard drive](http://www.magicdvdripper.com/dvd-copier.htm) . But it’s not free like DVD Shrink…
