# Corner scales for weighing anyone??

Anyone in the Pittsburgh, PA, area have any digital corner scales for weighing my bug? or selling any digital corner scales? I have a rough idea how much it weighs but would like to know exactly. Not interested in taking it to the track scales or scrap yard scales as they only have total wieght and I need to know corner weights. Need to use the good kind, not the kind that uses a bathroom scale and a lever. Thanks

Check with Mike Ancas at Speed Nation. He’s king of the autox and hillclimb in the area, should be able to point you the right way.
I used to have some plans saved where you could do it with some 2x4s and a bathroom scale(digital scales are MONEY when you need one for each corner…) and it was rumored to work very very well. But I never got around to doing it and my time in cone filled parking lots has come to an end…

I have a catalog here at the shop that has a nice setup with a central hub (brain) connected to the 4 pods, and its $899. I thought about them a while ago, but its not in the budget.

Mike has been entirely too busy to deal with his scales right now. Jim Mistick (Speednation’s manager) currently has them in his garage, although i don’t know if he wants to do anything with them just yet.
I’ll ask him in the morning.
