# Corrupted my cousin into getting a bike..

My cousin now wants to get a harley, he has his license, but won’t be able to pay the 300$ by the time the next classes are. So he is gonna take the DMV road test after he gets some practice on the bike.
Has anyone ever taken this test instead of the MSF course? If so how much was it and what did you think about it?

road test is free.
buy your permit, bring a licensed rider, legit car, legit bike, ride around and pass the test.
that simple.
TAKE THE MSF… its worth the knowledge, especially if he has never ridden before.

Thats what I keep telling him…:brickwall: But I might split the cost with him so he gets “trained” better and has the know-how to be safe on the street

I took the road test and no msf. Just make sure he rides and learns from knowlegable riders. I learned from people that took the msf. It was no replacement but I too was in no position to spend $300 on a weekend class. He’ll be fine as long as he’s not retarded on it.
