Not that I have any time nor money, I was just curious; somewhere down the road I think it would be awesome to do a late 50’s corvette convertible with an LSx swap and recent vette suspension/brakes anyone know of kit car companies to get the frame/body/interior? ---

google is your friend. I’m also interested in a kit car and plan on starting a lotus7 build sometime in the next year. ---

yea I saw that too, c4 brakes/suspension etc. it referenced a reputable manufacturer, I was seeing if people had more info, or other options ---

That’s odd. My friend was googling corvette kit cars during school…maybe it was a cobra kit car… I know there was a site he found that was good. If I get I’ll link you. ---

Seems like a lot of money to spend for something that really wouldn’t hold any real world value. Not that the concept isn’t good or anything, but unless you got a lot of money to burn… ---

[/quote] I saw that also. I’m very tempted about that and might order one, but I’m not sure how long he’s going to making them. First I need to know which donor I’m going to use. Need to start patrolling the junkyard. If you don’t have a welder/don’t know someone to borrow one from, and you have no welding experience, the safest thing to do would be to order one. $1k is very affordable for a frame, compared to alot of companies. ---

Not that the concept isn’t good or anything, but unless you got a lot of money to burn… [/quote] I have an interest in all cars. i also have various niches i would like to fill in my car collection. already have a couple collectors cars, a nice dd, and a nice sportbike, and i want a convertible. doesn’t interest me much to get a z3 or a s2k, or any other recent car I can think of. and I’ve always liked old vettes. the only other competition for it would be a 427 cobra replica. this would not be for ~4 or so years. I have to buy a few houses before I dump that kind of money into another toy. just seeing what’s out there ---
