I can’t wait to see this, anyone have any idea whats up with the intake manifold? Looks a little square to be a supercharger, and just glancing around I don’t see any new pulleys in those shots. It almost looks like a airbox used on race engines that have individual throttles. ---

that square box is actually the intake/supercharger, and that engine is the LS9 6.2L Supercharged Engine. Fully forged bottom end. Producing 700hp GM is shooting for trying to make this the fastest production car around the N-ring in history ---

Ok I figured it probaly was, shape was throwing me off. cant wait to see what it does on the ring… stock Z06 did like 7’43" on stock run crap tires. that ties the race tire prepped porsche 911 GT3 i think if i recall right. not sure but the Z06 is hangin with some of the best cars in the world…including the zonda. now with anywhere from 100-200 hp more and better tires, it probly will pass the Porsche Carrera GT at 7’32" seconds. thats gonna be one awesome vette ---

Remember this isnt going to be the official body for the Corvette SS either. Supposedly it will weigh less than the current Z06, and have major suspension upgrades too. This is just a current Z06 with an SS drivetrain stuffed in it for testing. I know for fact this mule car has the SS brakes, and pretty sure it has the suspension too… so we’ll see. Rumor has it GM is confident on their 7:04 time for the N-ring. ---
