Already done Vlad, at least all the workout shit.
Yes, I lost to Jay’s STi (I expected it) AND Nick’s S4 on pump gad (did not expect it).
When I raced Nick, at about 110mph, the car felt like it hit a brick wall. No CEL, no other issues.
Today at EPL we found what the issues were. ECU is saying “Boost control deviation” and it puts it into limp mode and shuts the throttle plate for a second or so. The car would overboost for just a second, then it’d hit the boost limit and shut the throttle plate. We found this out on the BASELINE dyno chart, where it’d drop off **90WHP** before letting the throttle open again. So Tony and Dave (I think his name was Dave) are fixing it and maybe I can pick it up tomorrow. They also put on muffler deletes and new bypass valves. Once everything’s fixed, he’s going to reflash it and add some features that’ll be very beneficial to me.
My numbers with this issue were 428whp and 500wtq. Justin can post his.
I’m sure Nick and I will rematch at some point this year. With Jay I expected the loss, so no big deal to me.

Good to hear they found the problem and its a minor issue. Sounded a little strange at first, I thought it would be a very close run against Nick.

It does sound awesome. On the only run they made on the dyno, when the car was revving up, you can feel your chest shaking and such. It’s loud. Wait til Nick posts pics of them. The tips themselves aren’t appealing, but what you can see when you look in them is lol.

Yea, no prob on the rides. I’ve never been in a Z06 or a modded one for that matter.
Today, I did get a ride in one of the EPL K24/18g cars on JRZ RS street coilovers. Rode awesome and was significantly faster than mine. I may be upgrading over winter but going w/ GT28RS’s prolly.

When you can look through the tips and see the turbines you’re day is complete. I can correct the “ugly tip” syndrome if you’d like 😉

A-men to that! 996’s are nice but the 930/965 singles with the 3.0-3.6 twin valve heads sound AMAZING.

You should hear Jacobs BTR with the RSR biturbo setup i built for him years ago. Twin K27HF’s with zork tubes!!(about 8" of exhaust total per turbo before hitting open air)

There were two 993 Turbos @ The Shop. One was red with some sick wheels on it, and the other was black, blue or green (don’t remember) with what looked like SSR GT3’s.
One of the 996TT’s @ EPL had some nice HRE’s on it, another had what I thought were HRE’s but not too sure (I have a pic on my phone, maybe Adam can tell), and another had a full TechArt :banghead body kit, wheels, and motor upgrades. Yes, I hate TechArt.
