I love that the article is about the ship and not how it sold for a fucking penny. I would have grabbed it for .02

I wonder why the govt. doesn’t just contract someone to dismantle it and keep the scrap value for themselves.
I know that it is a high cost dismantle due to Asbestos and obviously size, but there would still have to be some value in the 7 figures that would come back from the scrap.
