Insurers are dealing with some crazy stuff right now. No new policy being written and widespread cancellations or reductions in coverage across all books. No mass lay offs yet but claims are down over 50% from the usual right now too. Huge repercussions in the supply chain coming. ---

Not that I want people to lose all their shit but logically most people (70%+) are not fiscally responsible and have zero savings. Even on unemployment max + the 600$ after taxes would be around $700 a week and most people will not be able to live on this, especially when a lot are buying booze, drugs and cigs. What I’m getting at is I would not mind scooping up my first rental property or another nice sports car. At the plant when overtime dries up you should see all the shit that gets thrown on the “for sale” board. The majority of people do not live within their means, which is fine paycheck to paycheck, but not during times like now. But my plan may be foiled if every bill people have to pay is “frozen” until this is over. ---

There are way too many factors at play to reasonably predict any outcomes with any degree of certainty. I agree that fire sales are coming but probably not on too much that’s interesting. ---
