2001 crv awd auto
while at idle the a/c compressor cycles over and over on and off clunking, which draws the idle down extremely low. On my girlfriends ride home today it would draw the idle down so low when she would let of the gas to slow that the car would almost stall, causing the car to vibrate and buck. it through a IACV cel for the abnormally low idle, with the a/c off the car runs great any ideas on whats causeing the compressor to drag?

Possibly Very low on 134a … that will cause it to constantly cycle … or it’s bad

i was questioning low refrigerant also, a/c is still ice cold, but i guess it wouldn’t hurt to throw a guage on it

have a set of guages if you need them
