# Cracked Ameripol Targa Top Where can i get it fixed???

Hey all, if anyone knows a good place to fix acrylic i need one. My Ameripol Targa top on my del sol cracked, i drilled a hole to stop the cracking, and it just keeps on cracking, NOT COOL! so im in need of a shop that can fix this sort of thing… anyone know one?

sorry about the tape gunk… and the dirt… haha i use some nice electrical tape to keep it from leaking.
anyone know where to get this fixed?

is that the OEM top? I’ve never heard of it. If it is OEM I can get you another one.

no it’s not oem, well the frame and inner panels of the top are, but the skin was made by a company called Ameripol, i have seen group buys on new ones, but they go for like $500+ its kind of worth alot, and they are hard to come by thats why i wanted to see if it could be fixed… that top is the reason i bought this del sol when i was looking at them to buy, the top had me sold.

I’d see if a custom interior shop who has experience in fiberglass work. I’d imagine they would be able to look at it and tell you if it can be fixed.

DAMN DAMN DAMN! well as of today i have a chip in my windshield as well… so i guess i’ll just take her to a glass shop and tell them to just rape me and do it up right.
any suggestions on where to go?

ameripol also makes the targa top for older corvettes you might have some luck talking to some of those guys… i was really thinking about getting one of these tops awhile ago and now i am glad i didn’t
