sounds like the kid had a broken home, this guy had some things missing in his life and they filled each others gaps. haha laughing as i type that for a lack of better words. This guy gets over zealous about it all and decides to fight for adoption. When they conference the boy they talk him into making him some looming child preditor which he may be by the sounds of it and the kid is shipped off some where else. all in all the guy MAY have had good intentions but theres to many unknowns and he sounds a little obsessive.
