Do yourself a favor and find a local rei to look at it and see how it packs down. The poles inherently add some bulk but it should back down super nicely. I have something similar. ---

Obviously it takes a lot longer than that since you have stops to eat, piss (multiply these by 4 if there are any females in the group), fill up with gas, stretch, etc. My biggest problem is after a couple days, once it started to get dark my eyes would fatigue and be burning, and I’d have trouble focusing. Once I stopped for dinner and got moving again I’d get a second wind around 8 pm. If you did it during summer you get way more daylight which is definitely nice. ---
