There is quite the profit to be made on bringing bikes to the west coast. Just make sure they can be ‘imported’ by a California resident. For example, I can register my drz400sm in cali since I’ve already registered it in another state but since it’s not 50 state legal someone who currently lives in California could not buy it and bring it in. There are age and mileage limits for motorcycles get around the rules. I’m not totally sure of the specifics though (7500 miles, etc). ---

I’m gonna post mine on craigslist about halfway out there, let it simmer and see what happens. If it doesn’t sell, and someone’s willing to sell it for me after I leave I just want what I paid for it back, maybe even a little less. Sell it and keep the profit beyond that. If that’s not an option – fire sale. ---

@Haenszel … I’ve already been talking with Gennaro… but if you want, PM me and we can chat. I don’t expect anything at all, as long as I’m not housing bikes for months on end, haha Walker and I are here to help, and me having the garage is a blessing for sure. Keep me looped in as the trip approaches. I’m super jealous you guys are doing this, btw. ---
