The fact that any of us have seen a bike beat by a car with less than 600 or 700hp proves that some riders are better than others. I mean, half the STI owners I’ve seen at the track are lucky to get under 2.0 60’, but the car is capable of a 1.6 or 1.7. First the car is less than 3000 lb’s. Second, there are things such as drag coefficient that really come into play at speeds over 50+ mph. I’m well aware a competant driver on a 600 could get me from a dig. Third, my car probably has around 500-540 engine HP. Your taking engine HP from a bike and comparing it to rwhp from my car.
