E could get probably $25k for his car, if it was bone stock, and if the car market wasnt down the tubes. Never going to happen now, theres a buyer for everything, however. He may get lucky and get a good $ for it from someone looking for exactly what E built. But thats unlikely, and that isnt “resale” IMO. Thats reaching a specific buyer, “resale” is being able to list your car forsale in its market at a reasonable cost to the current owner and potential buyers. But i agree with you, i beat on my car, but i also take care of it. And when im ready to get rid of it (which is when i can afford a c6 z06) it will look as it did or better than it did when i got it. And i will probably get close to what i paid, only because i got mine for so cheap.
