# CSCS Gymkhana @ Grand Bend - Reflections...

Good. Clean. Fun. The shortest way to describe this event. Props to the CSCS guys and Sasha for running this event. This was my first time participating in a drift event, and it was worth it. Many thanks to Nick (Blue S13) for helping me (ok, he did everything really) put in Megan Track Coils and rims on Saturday, and helping fine tune at the track today.
Also thanks to Sasha and Alex for all the advice you guys gave me through out the day, I learned alot about the finer details of drift. It’s always good to be humble.
I took some video footage of the event, so I will try to see if I can put something together. Anyone with pics post them up too, I’m sure many are interested in seeing them. :lol:

Thanks to CSCS for a good job on the event! Everybody had fun and the crowd got an entertaining day.

Hey… I confused the bird, he thought I was heading more of a 3 o’clock, but with my slip angle I was heading straight for him at 12… He had nowhere to go, and I wasn’t going to let off, miss him, and then tank slap into the fence…
I told him I was sorry but he just ran away, cause that’s all he could do… run.

Soo… I have had a couple looks at the Sea Gull run… it is quite graphic so I am not going to post it.
For the record, I went over and tried to appologise to him. I feel very bad about that… it sucked, I got a 1/4 inch long scratch on my car. 😢

im gona get it out. HOLY SHIT
today was so fun i dont want it to end
series of events as follows
saturday:
get car running semi properly
chris swapping subframe and doors
leave shop at 1:30am to get up for 7am
sleeping on erics couch, best couch in the world
sunday:
up at 7,
go to meet chris at timmies 7:45…
didnt leave till 8:30 cause chris is slow, find out he left the shop at 5am to sleep till 7am :shock:
9am drive to theo’s
9:30am wait for theo’s slow ass and for chris to wash his car
10:30am get to sports world
12pm turbo is starting to back off the manifold 30min from grand bend
1pm get to the track
2pm get on the track after fixing car & sign in
3pm get used to boost and torque!
4pm let sasha rape my car like michael jackson at a petting zoo
6pm finially made it around track withought fucking up my run
7pm Big storm a comin
8pm get some wine and a flying saucer
8-10:30 chris blowing ic piping, dinner with alex, theo, chris, eric, ashley and drive home shootin flames on the way,
10:30-2am drinkin beers at theos and wathcing crazy tarzan yamada drift video’s
2:45am finishing my wikked day

Of coarse I had 3 different girls riding with me but you had to choose the one with the dude… and he’s wearing pink too… haha
No kidding about the crowd either, they flocked there as soon as the tires started to light up, and they stayed for a long time!! They gathered every time we started ripping it up. They were loving it!! Everyone was videoing and snapping pictures.
Oh, and Niagara = **S1DC**!!
