Most of you guys have previously made it out to atleast one CSCS event in Grand Bend, but here is the info for the newbies Sunday June 22 2008 11am-6pm Grand Bend Motorplex The beach is about 5 min. drive from the track so you can make a weekend out of it. For the CSCS drift championship this is NOT a points event. This is simply an event for you guys to come out and have fun. Event is open to everyone. What is Gymkhana? - Gymkhana is a mix of autocross and drifting. The course is set up on a large tarmac skid pad and looks similar to a pylon autocross course. However, the course is set up in a way which it is quicker to drift the course then to hold traction. The event is timed not judged and we have classes for RWD, FWD, AWD. Gymkhana is $30 at the event. Keep in mind park admission is additional $18 ---

I wont be making it out to this Event…about a 4 hour drive,was going to trailer the car but then decided to just work on it instead…next year i guess! ---

I went for a few hours today with the girly. watched a bit of the drifting and some drags… Was a real nice day for sure… I didnt get any pics or vids tho… any one see the guy in some mustang. He had spare tires on the back… that was kinda ammusing I think he forgot to read the Drifting for dummies book lol I had the 300zx there… I soo wanted to give it try… But didnt want to wrecx my new tires haha ---
