up front: this will be my last post in this thread I feel bad for taking Chris’s thread off topic.

I believe you still owe me a ridealong, so I should make an effort to come to some sort of event.

as for fronting the money for a track day - that’s what credit cards are for. Anyone can get a credit card these days with a $3000 limit.

Hell, the petro canada petro points card i got a few years ago started me at $10,000.

Anyhow, it was a suggestion – you may be right… maybe there arent enough drifters interested in order to run a successful track event.

Maybe someone should start cold calling venues with big parking lots and find somewhere that will allow you to make some noise up in the boonies.
