# Cuba

Anyone been there from the US?
I am thinking about going and flying out of Toronto but wondering if it is possible to fly in and out of Toronto.
Is it illegal for an American to go there at all or just illegal for US airlines to go there?

pretty sure it’s just flying out of the us, to there, thats illegal. From Ca. you should be fine afaik. I’d double check though lol

you can go there out of toronto. They’ll be more than happy to have you there.
Only time you may get shit is coming back over the border from canada to US. You can take the chance and just tell them you were hanging out in TO for the week, you may get less shit that way

Ya my big worry was more of going through customs in Toronto with a US passport from Cuba. Then coming back into the US showing my passport and having a Cuba record on it.

I always thought it would be cool to go there but I don’t think it’s worth the risk.
My aunt went through UB, because she was a spanish major, she said it was an awesome trip.

Use your birth certificate and license at the border crossing coming back to the US.
Toronto customs doesn’t care about you going to Cuba. They don’t have a problem with them. If you look in the travel section of the buffalo news they advertise all inclusives in cuba out of TO all the time.

FYI, Cuban strip clubs are on par with the Colonie on Hertel.

Last time i was in mexico they had deals to go to cuba for cheap cheap. Few people from our tour went for 2 days and said it was awesome

when you go to Cuba with a USA passport the stick a temp sheet in your pass port and stamp that … when you come back you just rip it out, one of my old roommates in florida is Cuban, …the drinks are cheeeep and the chicks are easy… but do not brake any laws over there or your F’ed…

There is laws in Cuba? I figured as long as you didnt make fun of their government you were ok.
