Been looking at those carbon bits for a while. How much of a PIA is it to get the front bumper off? Looks like a lot of clips to break… Loving the new colors they offer. House’s looks like Dravit, which is incredible in person ---

Takes like 10-15 min tops to get it off even if it’s your first time. I could walk you through it over the phone haha ---

There are points past the filters designed to collect moisture, although not enough to prevent hydrolock if the filters were submerged. I don’t risk boosting in the rain because of it. Or simply avoid driving the car in the rain. Or I simply avoid driving the car at all because I have an unrelated oil leak, lol. ---

Car is a 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super originally imported from France. Trip is attending the Overcrest Rally which is in Wisconsin this year. Driving from South Florida to the rally and back. @Shrives will be meeting up as well! ---

My interest in cars has definitely waned. Just 2 cars now, my Audi S5 cabriolet and the wife’s VW Atlas. I find we take the Atlas more and more just because it’s so smooth/quiet and loaded with tech that makes driving more relaxing (it’s an SEL-P rline). I’ll drive the S5 until it starts giving me major repair issues because it’s been paid off for years and owes me nothing. If it got totaled tomorrow I’d probably be looking at a VW Arteon AWD to replace it. The wife and I are much more into stashing money and thinking about retirement now. We are 100% doing the Great Loop and taking on the extra side trip over to the Bahamas. Narrowed it down to a 35-45’ boat with diesel power, but going back and forth between a traditional trawler or an aft cabin yacht with a fly bridge. Since we’ve got the yacht bug the idea of putting anything more than basic mid level money on a car doesn’t seem appealing at all. Jill’s got 3 years left of college and once we’re done paying that ridiculous bill every year we expect to buy the boat shortly after. ---

LOOPPER! Lots of people in Mi do that. It would be fun for sure. Ughhhh we still have a few. 97 viper, 97 C5 supercharged 416ci, 2011 lsx 427 supercharged grand sport, 04 supercharged ctsv, 72 c-10, 65 el Camino, 1994 Roadmaster, wife drives an Escalade, I also have a 2009 plow truck with a forged 5.7L, my old 97 M3, 98 Sebring.
