Don’t seem very reliable, yeah they’re cheap, but the fast ones most likely don’t last long and aren’t very streetable. 10.7 @ 142, that car was probably built before the event and broke at the event after a few passes. I’ll take my K swap. But, to be more comparable to my K swap…no streetable(meaning pump gas 93 octane, full interior, etc.) N/A D series is going to hold it’s own on a K swap…Just saying. Some of the cars in the video do go good though, given it’s a good run and the turbos actually stay spooled. They seemed to be struggling keeping those puppies going. ---

yeah who cares, its a purpose built car, no one ever said dseries vs kseries on the street, motor to motor, now youre just being childish man. it was a drag car… quit hating on everyones setup. ---

lol these cars arent supposed to be this fast, thats the whole point…i would hope a K series and B series cars with equivalent amount of work done would walk all over these cars. the sadest part is that sometimes they dont. these guys just do it to see how far they can take a motor that was never meant for this stuff. its a challenge to themselves and other D series guys. they all own faster cars lol. when you think about the fact that the greeen crx makes over 500hp more than that motor made stock as an economy shit motor, he deserves props for making it through just one pass lol. dont compare them to other cars, thats not the point. the guys doing the same thing with K series motors are going a hell of a lot faster, but its just better technology, they SHOULD be going faster. same with the V8 guys. its tough making 400-500% over stock power with any motor then keep iot together and run bad ass times, it gets pretty pricey for some cars, but these D series are dime a dozen lol.
