cant be f\*cked with. total man-dominator. congrats to the Heat. also, in hockey Cam Ward and the canes. the nba and nhl play-offs were awesome this year. now starts the wait til steelers season, cause i dont watch baseball on tv.

the diesel is easy to stop, just let him shoot and he’ll miss. he didnt do that much…i think he had like 9 points last night.
only the the first 2 games of the nhl finals were on oln tho, so atleast everyone got to see the last few games.

wade is an average player imo, he had what almost 50 points in the last 2 games from free throws… thats lame…
he is a hell of a shooter but still jordan and kobe \> wade

nba is dumb… how disproportionate is the NBA and then they cry about not having enough black baseball players. the NBA is not an accurate depiction of the population. i watched one hockey game all year and it was game 7. pretty entertaining…
world cup, i’d rather punch myself in the face than sit in agony watching that.

race has to do with why i don’t watch basketball. not that i don’t like black people but they market baseketball to the hip hop culture which is geared towards inner city blacks. i was giving my 02 about what i thought of basketball. Its a pretty curent topic of the lack of blacks in baseball brought up by the likes of jesse jackson and Co. but yet they say nothing of the overabundance of blacks in basketball. i don’t feel any connection to the NBA.

well i’m the whitest / worst basketball player of all time. i dunno what it is cause i’m actually a decent athlete for my size but when it comes time to b-ball, i think 14yr old girls can take me to school. regardless, i cant connect to the nba in that respect but i still like to watch it here and there…especially playoffs. plus wade has been my fav player since he single-handedly took down PITT in the tourney a few years back, so its cool to see him get to the top.

I understand what your saying but just because you feel your race doesnt connect to a certain sport doesnt mean you cant enjoy it and be part of it. Trust me i know. I’m black and i played hockey for several years and i’ve done other sports(raced dirtbikes and several other things) that were mainly white and i enjoyed every minute of it. IMO i think thats a pretty lame reason to not like the nba cause your race isnt the dominate one in it.🙂 Its all good if you just hate basketball cause u dont like it.

i think another big part for lack of passion for hoops is no pro team in PGH. i liked baseketball up until about the time of MJ’s first retirement.
