# Damen Hale - DWI Hit and Run - IN CUSTODY! :)

[FONT=Courier New]A carload of 5 of very close friends of the family yesterday were involved in a hit and run accident on the Robert Moses Pkwy in Niagara Falls. It happened I believe some time around 8pm to 11pm. A grandmother, mother, and 3 adults were hit by a car and knocked off the road in their Audi which then flipped over onto the roof. They were all sent to the hospital with injuries, not life threatening. One of the adults was able to get out of the car and get a hold of the driver which he described as an 18 year old male that was drunk.
I’m not sure on much of the details yet, but the drunk driving 18 year old was able to flee the accident.
If you possibly know of the person that caused this accident or see a vehicle that appears to have been in an accident (passenger side damage) please notify me. As I get more details, I will post them here.[/FONT]
Update:
The 18 year olds name was Damen Hale. He was driving a 2005 black Chevy Equinox. He fled the scene of the accident.
He was staying at the scene of the accident then fled once he realized the seriousness. They said he was extremely intoxicated and didn’t realize what he had done.
The accident happened around 11:00pm on the Robert Moses heading towards the casino/nia falls near the tall generator.
The front end and right front of the Equinox was destroyed. The Audi went down a 200 yard path into a ditch and flipped over.
All of the 5 occupants have different levels of injuries.
If any information is known on him, please PM me in private. I should have more information soon.
Updated: Drivers name was Damen Hale belived to be from Niagara Falls

6’ - 6’1" tall
Short dirty blonde hair / blonde
Earring in left ear
Was wearing khaki shorts, blue shirt and sandals
Smokes
2005 black Chevy Equinox
Plate - BLL-3484
(Vehicle was damaged at scene of accident and left when he fled)

if he got ahold of the driver… then… why need help finding info on the incident? they didn’t get a make, model, color, license plate, name, anything??

I’m going on bits and pieces of information since my wife only got some of the information on it from her friend. For all I know, he might have gotten the information. But I’m sure he was beat to shit from going off the side of the road and flipping over onto the roof. I’m putting out the information to be proactive until I get more details.
If you see a car that looked fine one day and the next the whole side is beat in, obviously something happened. So thats why I put the word out.

Sounds like some bumps and bruises. The 80 year old grandmother was going to get checked out again. The other 4 all live out of state and were here for their great grandmothers 100th birthday. They were supposed to go home at 6am this morning.

i havent heard any updates from my buddy yet joe so idk if this is the same incident but it seems like it is…did you find out how the police found out who damon was??? ill send you a pm as soon as i talk to him i know i talked at 1223am this morn an he was pretty shook up so my guess is we are chasing the same info…sucks though is everyone ok for the most part?

Anyone else with information, please PM me.
The accident scene was over 1/2 mile long. The officers were suprised there were survivors. The Audi they were driving is destroyed.
The 80 year old grandmother has some internal injuries from this.
If you have ANY information on Damon, this crash, and his whereabouts, please contact me!
