# Dare I say it... Annual Summer BBQ!

Grant is booked both of the last two weeks in august… the 19th,20th and the 26th, 27th. Is there any other dates that would work or should we try for another grove?

If you decide on another grove…
Try _Monroe Grove_ ( close to the BMX track ) there is **LOT’s** of parking ( gravel parking area ) It a nice area- I’d check it out!!

the important part, is a field big enough to play football.although depending on the day, i may not be able to play or even come if it’s a race weekend.

The areais definitely big enough! Though I will mention that there is a slight incline so it isn’t completely flat…though across the street where all the parking is there is a huge field and if I remember correctly its nice and flat! There are also bathrooms and a play area for kids not but 20 yrds from the pavilion ( just incase ).

anyone who is familiar with south park suggest a good pavilion with plenty of parking and a big open field, I will call south park tomorrow and try to get a pavilion reserved, I just dont know what ones are good.

if we need a place i can allways book the whole pavillion softball volleyball huge parking lot has built in coolers and grills atthe air force base
911th airlift wing in moon township
but its like 125 bucks a day/night and the only thats a bitch is i would need a list of all names attended to i can clear access into the base…
dunno allways an idea if south park dont work

I was lookin at the parks department website, I can check the availability of this place [http://www.county.allegheny.pa.us/parks/images/gallery/sp/blackashes.asp](http://www.county.allegheny.pa.us/parks/images/gallery/sp/blackashes.asp) the only catch is its 85 to rent a day, which isnt too bad, it has sand volleyball, i guess basketball, softball field. The picture makes it look like there is tons of room for parking.

haha… it would probably be easier on the shirts too!
I think the base would be an awesome idea, having exactly who is coming is so much easier for the food situation too. Might I suggest this year, just do 5 bucks a head and then have a person go out and by the stuff. Granted you can bring something if you want, but regardless everyone pays 5 bucks
