I found another project, so this one must go… 2000$
I bought it on here for 500$ as a roller, rusted out floors and fucked frame rails.
I rebuilt the floors and frame, the car is rock solid now.
Engine has 66k on it, body has 121K
New Parts
Rad hoses
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Wiring harness (used but good)
Drop resistor
Radiator
Brake shoes
Brake pads
Wheel cyilders
Drum brake rebuilds
Plugs
Plug wires
Dizzy, cap and rotor
Newish coil
Headlight rings
Washer nozzles
Washer bottle & motor (I think motor is dead, they wont squirt)
shifter bushings
AFM boots
Wiper blades
Vacuum hoses
Aluminum drums
Alternator
Starter
Fuel pump
“Z” shift knob
Clutch slave
Clutch master
Ricer tach for MSD ignition(msd not included)
Re-wired the fuse links, its now a maxifuse block, fixed the factory wire splices too. its the clear box in one of the pictures
Engine / drive train
L28E
N42 block
P90 turbo zx head
NA internally oiled cam
Fuel rail
Close ratio 83 5 speed transmission
R200 3.545 rear end
Motorsport auto 6-1 thermal coated header
2.5’’ straight pipe exhaust, not cat
Goes to a magnaflow 6’’ race muffler.
I still have the original MSA muffer that will go with it
Accessories deleted
I’ve probably spent over 3000 in parts
The bad:
The interior is stripped out, headlight switch was rewired to rear defroster because of a dead wire between the steering column and headlights up front, i traced the wire however i cannot find where it is damaged… i gave up and just rewired the fucker.
Speedo does work, however i believe the speedometer wire became unplugged i will take a look at this tomorrow
driver side window mech needs adjusting
when it rains hard some water gets inside the pass. side, everything was sealed and painted so no chance of rust forming, it just pools and evaporates. I believe its coming from a bad door seal.
Cracked dash
Pics are of the car / engine / floors / frame replaced and rebuilt
The white floor is just the sealer, its now black i painted it over with truck bedliner, it is very rugged

The car ran a 10.28 on the 1/8th how it sits now
It probably has 100hp at best

I’ve seen this around my parent’s house. I really like it.
Cool car for the money. Sounds like you know the car pretty well, and the issues are all pretty minor.

The same shit the factory did, i just used a puddy knife instead of a super expensive spray gun that i didn’t own
