I used to complain about Jim’s Useless Keys of the Game, like “The Sabres need to score more goals than the other team in order to win this one.” I’d kill to have him back at this point. ---

Then I was excited when I heard we were getting Neale. After listening to Neale sound like an Alzheimer’s patient half the time I’d really like to see Robie full time. When a drunk Jeanerette has to correct you multiple times per game maybe it’s time to retire. ---

While we’re bashing MSG… How about instead of showing us 10 different angles of a shot on goal you show us the critical faceoff taking place just to the right or left of the goal. I’m going to say we only see about 50% of the faceoffs in any given game. ---

I really dont think neale contributes anything special. Mike generally has some good insight and knows his shit. Kevin is just a host with a hockey background and you cant touch the razor. Did anyone notice that the mics for the Boards seemed to be turned up? You could hear the crashes into the boards and everything on the ice really well. Neale seems completely pointless to have, he doesnt do shit, at least kevin and mike host the damn show. And Rick Jeannerrete is one of the best announcers in the sport, Biased Of course, but what team paid announced isnt? He has more emotion and uses good termonology and actually pronounces the players names correctly unlike his new partner who fucking blows.
