Anybody have somebody they have used locally to appraise a diamond? need to get some done and dont know what to look for in the phone book ---

you can always send the stone to GIA and get a cert for it. The problem is when you go to get it appraised person A will tell you its a Vs1 F, person B will say its an Si1 H, and person C will say its an Si2 G When GIA certifies the stone a group of people look at the stone I think its like 5 or so and they all have to individually come up with the same grading this is why GIA \> \* ---
