The wife is selling this for her friend. He bought it and before he could ask, the shit hit the fan.
It was appraised @ $3200 and is currently best offer.
You will have to offer more than you would pay for your winter beater.

1ct princess rings are 1.5k on Ostock.
and some generic I stones are ~800.
so im sure it’s a fair asking price.

I used a used diamond. Family heirloom. It was wifey’s mother’s engagement stone, traces back to wifey’s great great aunt. I just had it put in a modern setting instead of the worn old 6 prong band.
My wife coming with her own stone is one of the main reasons we got married. Can’t beat a bargain like her! :uhh:

Sell the gold kept the rock with GIA cert papers. Most diamonds under 2 carats unless they are absolutely flawless or a natural untreated pink or blue are a tough sell.

Make real offers.
Based on the last pic, it’s white gold… (not sure why anyone would bother)
Their are nicer rings geologically, and this one would have been bad ass for
the trash he bought it for.
I’m sure it’s a tough sell. It came from Reeds and i believe he still has the reciept.
I’m not sure if their trade up policy would follow the ring…
ex. you get $3200 credit towards a ring $6400 or greater IIRC.

Its not just the carats, its the clarity.
Unless im missing something, im still interested in what the purity of this gold is…
