# Did you vote?

United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10 - Patriotic Customs, provides:
```
During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart.
```
everyone besides him knew about this… and no this isn’t the only reason i wouldn’t vote for him, but it’s something that does bother me along with the fact that he usually doesn’t wear the flag on his jacket lapel that almost all other politicians wear.

do u also go around being pissed and not shop at places that fly the flag year round instead of lowering/raising it every day, neglecting to take it down during rain? cmon!

Same as above…should everyone at a bill’s game w/ a hat still on or not standing at attn w/ the hand over heart, those in the bathroom w/ their hand on their dicks, those sitting down or not paying attn be issued citations? i think ur just overly sensitive over the whole respect the flag business. no offense.
Might as well quit the armed forces if u can’t fight for ur commander in chief.

the drunk guy at the bills game is one thing… the guy trying to be the president is another. and even most of the drunk guys do take their hats off and face the flag from what ive noticed in the past few weeks.
but like it said those aren’t my only reason’s for not voting for him, it’s just something that i don’t like about him.

Don’t gang up on him, if he doesn’t want to vote for Obama for that reason alone, that’s his right.

should have absentee balloted it (like you would have known that you would have had a busy day). That kind of sucks for you though. I didn’t vote, but I really don’t like it when others are unable to vote.

Voted. Lines were pretty intimidating when i first got there, but the whole process took about 10 minutes. Busiest I’ve ever seen my polling place, it was kind of refreshing.
