i own a 1995 s14 zenki and i want to change my gauges to white face, i currently have black. i purchased a set of jdm s14 kouki gauges thinking they might work. but they only use 3 plugs on the back instead of the 4 plugs my cluster uses. does anyone know if the jdm s14 zenki uses 3 plugs on the back of the gauge cluster. i want jdm becasue of the 7000 rpm redline , and the fact that my car has an sr… kinda picky i know. any help would be great

pull the clear plastic cover from the cluster, then the needles, then the couple screws, then the guage faces and put the white guage faces on your zenki cluster,

Assuming they are the same shape…

I am also looking for a white face guage cluster… zenki anyone?

the white faces are different shape and the mechanisims are way different. thought about that one already… i just need to know if 95 jdm white faces use 4 plugs… 3 white plugs and one black plug, if anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your answers so far.

YOu need the plugs to make the kouki cluster work. If you dont have them you are SOL. I have a kouki cluster as well and no plugs. I also took them apart to see if they can be swapped and it wont work without some major modifications. Youll have to find some plugs -it seems like its the only way.

Sort of off topic but, I am wondering, I want to tap into the ECU speed wire, anyone know for an s13 speedo (if i want to do testing of a speedo while still retaining the stock cluster and speedo inside).

Essentially I want to have the cluster and speedo in dash untouched, while at the same time tapping into s13’s KA ECU (yellow wire?) and on the side testing a different speedo.

Would that work (I would assume duh, yes, but…).

I need this to fix/adjust and modify a bunch of speedos I have…
